Biography
DJ COS STARTED HIS CAREER SPINNING AT BARS AND CLUBS ALL OVER THE DENVER METRO AREA. EARNING RESIDENCES AT BARS IN THORNTON , DENVER AND LAKEWOOD. AT THE HEIGHT OF HIS CLUB DJ DAYS HE GOT INVITED TO DJ ONE OF THE BIGGEST CLUBS IN NEBRASKA CALLED SHOTS AND BECAME A MONTHLY GUEST DJ OUT THERE SINCE 2016.
While much of DJ COS's live performances have revolved around the hip hop music scene, his mobile DJ business is varied and client-focused. DJ COS has provided entertainment for hundreds of events and occasions, including high school dances, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, Children's Summer Camp events and corporate fundraising events, such as the CBS4's-Denver Broncos Wine Women and Football. DJ COS customizes his sound, lights and patron interaction, all based on the desires of the client and the focus of the event.
In 2011, DJ COS began hosting podcasts and radio shows, beginning with a Hip Hop Talk Show called "The Geek-Hop Spot" on Geek Street Society Radio. From there, DJ COS and with long-time colleague and friend DJ Dings, produced and aired more than 200 podcasts over a two and a half year time span on Spreaker.com called "Dings & COS Radio." The show became a catalyst for combining the local music and sports scenes, and focused on giving quality airplay to regional recording artists. From there Cos went on to team up with Lance Mijares and TURNT UP TV conducting interviews with local artists and host a Mix show called "The Mile High Mix" Currently, DJ COS hosts a weekly sports and music radio show called "Tha Box" on Denver Open Media Radio - 92.9 FM.
